Who we are

fire.co.za ("we") is responsible for the personal information you give us through this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you ask for quotes or apply to be listed, we collect your name, phone number, email, location, the service you need or offer, and any details you add. We also collect basic, anonymous usage statistics to improve the site.

How we use it

• Quote requests: with your consent, we share your details with up to three relevant service providers so they can contact you with a quote.
• Pro applications: to verify your business, list it and send you customer requests.
• We don't sell your information, and we only send marketing if you've opted in.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept for up to 24 months so we can handle follow-ups and disputes, and are then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@fire.co.za. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
